Our Philosophy
“Everybody’s Place” speaks for itself in the concept of a therapy practice. It represents a place of belonging, support, and safety where you can find acceptance in all the things that make you, well, you! The origins of Everybody’s Place come from family values and ideology: hard work, sincerity, and authenticity guide our work together so that you can find the best version of yourself. It is okay to be struggling, and it is okay to ask for help. You have a place here.
About Antoinette Bonafede Shine
Founder of
Everybody’s Place Psychotherapy
At the heart of Antoinette’s work is a simple yet powerful belief: therapy should feel like a place where you are fully seen, supported, and empowered. As the founder of Everybody’s Place Psychotherapy, with over a decade’s experience, Antoinette Bonafede Shine, LCSW, creates a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable — and strong enough to grow.
Antoinette knows that finding the right therapist is about more than credentials—it’s about connection. Her approach is sincere, direct, and humanistic, helping clients feel truly understood as they explore their struggles and extraordinary strengths. She empowers clients to express their needs, set boundaries, and feel connected to their authentic selves — even during life’s most trying moments.
Antoinette specializes in helping individuals navigate topics and diagnostics related to (but not limited to) personality disorders, ADHD, anxiety, self-esteem, eating disorders, and relationship dynamics. Antoinette also offers family and couples therapy, assisting clients in building healthier communication patterns and deepening their connections with themselves and others.
In her work, Antoinette partners closely with clients and their care teams to uncover how past experiences, trauma, and old patterns may shape their present. Together, they build new ways of thinking, communicating, and coping that align with each client’s values, goals, and life experiences.
Antoinette draws from multiple therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and believes a care plan is not one size fits all. Some modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Her background includes working with various ages, identities, and life stages, always honoring that no two journeys are the same.
Antoinette got into this work because she was enamored with the resilience of people. She uses the therapeutic relationship to build trust in the process of healing and growth — and reminds clients that they have a place here.
